Port Askaig 8 Year Old is matured in a selection of bourbon barrels, toasted American Oak barrels, PX sherry butts, and refill hogsheads for a minimum of 5 years. It is herbaceous and resinous on the nose with notes of seaweed, citrus, and pinewood, and gentle smoke and salinity on the palate.

Long, maritime finish: coastal smoke and briny salinity linger, threaded with resinous pine and citrus zest. A whisper of PX sweetness surfaces, then peat and oak spice drift away in a clean, warming afterglow.
