(Port as-KAY-g) Port Askaig is not a distillery but an Islay single malt brand created in 2009 by Elixir Distillers. It takes its name from the small port village on Islay’s north-east coast, long regarded as one of the island’s main gateways, and the whiskies are presented as a reflection of that part of Islay rather than of one named distillery.
