No more than 60 casks will make up each batch. Each cask is selected for the notes it will bring to the whisky. Each batch will have a unique code and shows the cask breakdown which enables the recipient, each year, to contrast, compare and explore the different notes that the wood and blending brings to this Islay Scotch Whisky. #02-2024 uses the cask selection to create layers of sweetness, zest intertwined with the classic smoke of Islay.
Bonfire Smoke, Cinder Toffee & Dark Fruit. Bursts of zesty citrus and black pepper, evolving to toasted bread, marmalade, and smoke. On the palate, it’s fresh with salt, lime, and spices, while the finish lingers with spice, smoke, and toffee-like richness.

Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery sheen and mahogany undertones, hinting at sherry-kissed warmth.
Nose
Bonfire smoke, cinder toffee and dark fruit form the core, brightened by bursts of zesty citrus and black pepper; evolving toward toasted bread and marmalade with wisps of smoke.
Palate
Fresh, briny and bright, with salt and lime at the core, dotted with lively spices. Zesty citrus and black pepper rise over hints of toasted bread and marmalade, evolving into a clean, smoke-kissed brightness.
Finish
Spice and smoke linger with toffee-like richness, echoing bonfire notes of dark fruit. A saline citrus lift and pepper tease the finish, slowly yielding toasted bread and marmalade as the smoke gradually fades.
