Tasting Notes
Colour
Dramatically deep copper-amber with mahogany undertones and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry aromas flood the glass, with figs, raisins and prunes layered over toffee and dark chocolate. Hints of orange zest and almond mingle with vanilla and polished oak, while notes of cinnamon and clove add spice, finishing in a warm, treacly sweetness and a subtle, salted-caramel glow.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, with a waxy, mouth-coating texture. Sherry-nurtured dark fruit—plum, fig, raisin—meets cocoa nibs and a touch of orange zest. Gentle spice—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—arises, while warmth lingers with leather, almond and a hint of tobacco, finishing long, richly sweet yet refinedly dry.
Finish
An enduring, richly sherried finish that lingers with dark fruit, cocoa and walnut undertones. The 63.6% ABV coats the palate, unlocking spice and a saline, coastal whisper, then slowly dissolves into toasted oak and lingering fig sweetness.
