Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany hues and a warm copper-gold glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry perfume crowns the nose: dark raisin and fig mingle with orange zest, prune and cocoa. A velvety ribbon of toffee, brûléed sugar and toasted almond adds sweetness, while echoes of oak, cinnamon, and clove lend warmth. Subtle leather and tobacco deepen the finish, leaving a refined, lingering fruit-spice glow.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate with dark-fruit depth—prune and fig entwined with ripe pear and apple under a sherried glaze. Rich toffee, almond paste and a touch of cacao unfold on a velvet texture, edged by nutmeg and cinnamon. Subtle oak sweetness and barley sugar lift the mid-palate, while a warming, lingering finish signals aged Speyside elegance with refined spice and lingering sherry warmth.
Finish
Silky, long finish infused with spiced sherry sweetness; raisin and orange zest weave through sun-warmed oak, finishing with a delicate bitter almond note and a whisper of cocoa.
