Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, radiant amber with copper-gold highlights and a whisper of mahogany. A warm, honey-bronze glow that hints at refined sherry influence.
Nose
Rich sherry-dusted aroma with dark fruit and refined oak. Fig and raisin mingle with orange zest and malt, while hazelnut, almond paste and toffee lend sweetness. A thread of spice—nutmeg and clove—adds warmth, underpinned by a whisper of leather and cocoa. A luxurious, time-worn bouquet that promises a patient, exceptional maturation.
Palate
Silky and substantial, the palate unfolds with dark toffee, dried fruit and sherried depth. Rich cocoa, almond and spices drift over velvety sweetness, while toasted oak lends structure. A subtle smoke and leather nuance emerge, guiding a long, refined finish of cocoa, cinnamon and polished wood.
Finish
Long and refined, the finish reveals dark fruit and cocoa from the sherry cask, layered over lush oak with subtle spice. A delicate maritime hint and toasted nut notes linger, fading to a warm, velvety glow.
