A fabulously rich, sherried 25 year old Mortlach with notes of crème brulee, marmalade, raisins and chocolate. Matured in first fill and refill sherry casks. Part of the new-look Distillery Labels series by Gordon and Macphail, which pays homage to the unique 'house' label given by the independent bottler to each distillery with which it works.
Tasting Note: Rich sherry aromas and punctuated by rum soaked fruits and beeswax polish. Stewed summer berry flavours are complemented by cinnamon, clove and zesty orange peel. The Finish is delightfully long and fruity.

Colour
Deep mahogany amber with burnished copper highlights and a chocolatey, sun-warmed glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry on the nose, punctuated by rum-soaked fruits and a veil of beeswax polish. Hints of stewed summer berries, cinnamon, clove and zesty orange peel weave a warm, inviting aroma.
Palate
Rich, sherried and mouth-coating, it delivers stewed summer berries, raisins and dark chocolate. Creme brulee and marmalade blend with cinnamon, clove and orange peel, while a beeswax polish adds waxy depth to a long, fruity finish.
Finish
Delightfully long and fruity, the finish lingers with sherry sweetness wrapped around rum-soaked fruits, beeswax polish and stewed berries. Cinnamon and clove weave through hints of orange zest, fading to a warm, lasting sweetness.
