Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and a warm copper-gold glow.
Nose
Opulent, time-softened sherry pours from the glass: raisin and fig with prune, treacle and dark caramel, braided with polished oak. Tobacco and leather notes weave through espresso and cocoa, while a whisper of orange zest adds lift. A velvety, mature perfume that hints at decades of patient cask time.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate with sherry-draped richness: fig, raisin and dark plum blend with caramel, cocoa and espresso. Subtle spice—cinnamon and clove—drifts over velvety oak, delivering a long, warming finish with notes of leather and orange zest.
Finish
Long, velvety and refined, the finish unfolds with dark fig and cherry, drifted by cocoa and nutty sherry. Spices emerge—cinnamon, clove—before a polished oak lift fades into a warm, lingering whisper of leather and toasted almond.
