Distilled at Mortlach in 2016, this 10-year-old Speyside single malt was independently bottled by Signatory Vintage in 2026 as Edition #84 of the 100 Proof Collection. Finished in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butts and bottled at 57.1% ABV, it combines Mortlach’s naturally rich, weighty spirit with the deep fruit and sweetness of PX-seasoned oak.

Mortlach
(mort-LOCK) Mortlach was founded in 1823 on the site of a former illicit distillery, becoming the first legal distillery in Dufftown long before the town was known as the whisky capital of Speyside. Its history is closely tied to George Cowie and later Dr Alexander Cowie, who helped shape the modern distillery, and by 1897 Mortlach had expanded from three stills to six and gained its own railway siding.
