Superb combination of New world Pinot Noir wine casks bringing gamey tinged red fruit and classic earthy/funky Longrow distillery character. I loved it but i know many may find this is a little bit too funky!

Tasting Notes
Colour
Wine-dark copper with ruby-garnet highlights, a deep red-amber hue.
Nose
Stewed red plums, rhubarb and custard mingle with Longrow’s earthy, funky peat smoke. Red liquorice threads leafy, brambly floral notes, while hints of smoked ham with cranberry and a touch of old sweaty leather add savory depth.
Palate
Peppery and crunchy red berry flavors drive the palate, with earthy peat smoke threading through. Blood orange and pink grapefruit provide zing, while an oily-wine tannin coats the mouth, amplifying a gamey richness reminiscent of Christmas pâté and Longrow’s signature earthiness.
Finish
Long, full-bodied finish of game-pie richness, with crunchy cranberry and redcurrant jelly. Earthy, mulchy brambly peat smoke lingers with an aromatic edge, while white pepper, blood orange and leather notes persist.
