Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant deep amber-gold with coppery edges and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Ripe orchard fruit leads the bouquet—pear and apple—brightened by honeyed vanilla and a kiss of almond. In the background, sherry richness lends dried fig and raisin, cocoa and spice, with polished oak, orange zest, and a trace of nutmeg completing a luxuriously fragrant nose.
Palate
Silky and refined, the palate reveals orchard fruit—green apple, pear—lifted by honeyed vanilla and almond. Sherry cask influence delivers dried apricot, raisin and fig, with citrus zest and a touch of spice. Creamy mouthfeel, polished oak, and a long, warming finish that lingers with toasted hazelnut and a subtle sweetness.
Finish
A long, sherried finish with dark fruit, cocoa and toasted almond. Rich toffee, vanilla and spice thread through the oak, slowly fading to a warm, lingering glow.
