A true collectors item and a chance to try a rare official bottling of Littlemill Single malt from the Lowlands of Scotland.
The Littlemill distillery sadly burnt down in 2004 but is widely believed to have been Scotland's oldest distillery and possibly the oldest in the world.
What we do know is that it was legally established in 1772 by owner George Buchanan of Glasgow.
Littlemill is known for a subtly floral, vanilla rich sweetness.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with a tawny, mahogany core and a coppery glow along the rim, a burnished, sherry-warmed hue that glows in the glass.
Nose
Delicate floral notes mingle with vanilla sweetness on the nose, evoking spring meadows and polished oak. Subtle orchard fruit, honeyed marmalade and almond shade the air, while the 1st-fill Oloroso sherry cue adds dried fig and raisin with a whisper of spice, finishing with refined warmth.
Palate
Silky and richly layered, the palate delivers vanilla cream and honeyed sweetness woven with toffee and oak. Sherry influence coats with dark fruit notes—raisins, figs—and a kiss of cocoa, while almond and subtle floral lift brighten the mid-palate. A warm, full-bodied finish lingers, suited to the highest shelves, with refined oak resin and a trace of orange zest rounding the experience.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with a refined warmth. Floral sweetness gives way to rich vanilla and caramel, lifted by Oloroso sherry notes of raisin and fig. Subtle spice and smooth oak linger, tapering to a soft, fragrant breath that echoes Littlemill’s delicate, timeless character.
