Benromach 45 Years Old is the result of four and a half decades of careful maturation in ex Sherry casks. The marriage of these casks has combined to create a single malt of exceptional depth, complexity and balance.
Benromach 45 Years Old has a dark amber colour. Rich sherry aromas combine with brown sugar and a hint of citrus zest. Fragrant cooked apples lead to an edge of sweet, dark honey. The palate is smooth with milk chocolate and leathery richness, balanced by soft white pepper. Subtle oak notes develop, leading to a long and full, slightly drying finish of red berries and mild spice.
