Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a radiant copper-gold core and subtle mahogany undertones.
Nose
Aged and elegant, with oak and sherry sweetness entwined by a whisper of peat. Dried fig and raisin mingle with dark chocolate, toffee and vanilla, brightened by orange zest and spice. Leather and tobacco add depth, while a subtle resinous note hints at the cask’s long, patient maturation.
Palate
On the palate, dark sherry sweetness entwines with dried fig and raisin, kissed by a whisper of peat. Rich and velvety at cask strength, it delivers espresso chocolate, toffee, and spice, with a long finish of leather, oak and lingering dark fruit.
Finish
A long, luxurious finish that lingers with dark chocolate, dried figs and toffee, woven through toasted oak. Sherry depth adds plush fruit and spice: cinnamon, clove, orange zest, while a subtle peat warmth threads through the tail, fading into a refined, lingering smoke and elegant dryness.
