Tasting Notes
Nose
Sweet top notes of pear drops, lime and lemon sherbet and creamy vanilla fudge are followed by fresh floral hints and subtle traces of malted barley. Hints of fragrant pear combine with sweet barley sugar and fresh green apple leading to ripe melon and honey.
Palate
Rounded honey sweetness is balanced with a dash of chilli spice. Sugared violets and hints of dry hay develop leading to creamy roasted hazelnuts. Adding water brings out sweet lime cordial and soft floral notes. Delicate smokiness comes to the fore followed by aromatic red apple, sugared violets, lavender and a dash of pepper.
Finish
Lingering sweet herbal tobacco notes with an edge of fresh menthol, hints of orange, citrus zest and a wisp of smoke on the finish. Exceptional!
