A 26 Year Old single cask Bowmore distilled in 1988. This expression was bottled for the 2015 Feis Ile. Matured in an ex-Sherry cask and bottled 48.3%. There were only 248 bottled.
(bow-MORE) Bowmore was founded in 1779 by David Simson and is widely regarded as the oldest licensed distillery on Islay. Established on the shores of Loch Indaal in the village of Bowmore, it has played a central role in the island’s whisky history for more than two centuries.
