Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished gold and coppery highlights, a sunlit bronze glow reflecting its long, oak-infused maturation.
Nose
Smoky BBQ and crisp bacon rise against coastal hints, framed by pear drops, fresh pastry and burnt sugar. The smoke remains refined, never overpowering, as sweet barley meets tropical fruit and apricot, with a gentle peat and a delicate whisper of fresh-cut flowers.
Palate
Sweet, rounded and creamy on the palate, with superb balance. Medium peat threads through ripe mango and charred pineapple, wrapped in vanilla cream and oak spice. Coastal smoke stays controlled, allowing the fruit and creamy texture to lead into a softly lingering, elegant finish.
Finish
A rich, lingering finish where bold smoke lingers, entwined with warming spice and a delicate kiss of sweetness.
