Tasting Notes
Colour
Obsidian black with a lacquered, wine-dark depth; subtle mahogany and bronze glints hover at the rim.
Nose
Intense peat smoke drapes a sherry-kissed sweetness, with dried fig and prune, dark chocolate and espresso. A saline sea breeze lifts the aroma, while vanilla and toasted oak weave quiet warmth through the scent. Opulent, multi-layered and refined, it offers an alluring, lingering smoke.
Palate
Silky coastal peat wraps the palate in refined smoke, yielding dark chocolate, fig and raisin from the sherry cask. A mocha-like sweetness, caramel and espresso emerge, tempered by salted toffee and a delicate sea-salt tang, with wisps of spice carrying through a long, dignified finish.
Finish
An exceptionally long, velvety finish that unfurls smoky, sherried sweetness with dark fruit and espresso notes. Billowing peat softens into elegant maritime salinity, cocoa and toasted oak lingering in a refined, warm fade.
