Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold sheen and subtle mahogany undertones, a warm, sunset-hued glow.
Nose
Mossy, fresh and coastal, with baked egg custard beneath seaweed and menthol, edged by green vegetables over white pepper and pear smoke. Herbal shortbread notes, sooty lime cordial, vanilla-almond freshness, and a mojito-like brightness.
Palate
Clean and fresh on the palate with lime curd, menthol, ripe pear, preserved figs and angelica. A waxy, oily mouthfeel coats the tongue as the peat stays balanced, with white pepper and herbal notes emerging.
Finish
Peat infused lime and salted green fruit (figs and pear) elegant and long with lingering notes of menthol and classic Lagavulin green tea like nuances.
