Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with rich mahogany undertones and a warm ruby glow.
Nose
Peat smoke and iodine rise with a maritime breeze, then give way to a luxurious sherry-finish. Rich Pedro Ximénez notes mingle with dried fig and prune, while cocoa nibs, vanilla, and toasted oak add velvet sweetness, all wrapped in a refined, lingering smokiness.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied peat floods the palate, mingling with briny sea spray and ash. A lush sherry sweetness emerges—fig, prune and dark cocoa—woven with peppery spice and a touch of espresso. The smoke lingers, mouth-coating and refined, finishing long with a caress of vanilla and salt.
Finish
Long, lush finish of smoked peat and Pedro Ximénez sherry, weaving toffee, dried fig and dark chocolate. Maritime salinity lingers, tempered by spice and ash, fading to a warm, resonant ember.
