The latest Batch of Kilkerrran 8 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt whisky is here! Distilled at the Glengyle distillery In Campbeltown, this distillery has been growing in status over the last few years and they've pulled out the stops with this latest release. Batch 4 has been matured in 100% re-charred Oloroso Sherry casks and bottled at 57.1% ABV. One of the most complex Kilkerrans released to date, this has a real mix of fruit, savoury, spice and Campbeltown funk! One of the best value whiskies of the year in our book!

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and mahogany undertones, a warm, honeyed glow that speaks of sherry influence.
Nose
Waves of smoky bacon and sticky glazed ham give way to dried fruit, unfolding into a soft, inviting peat smoke.
Palate
Rich, fruity and spicy, with ginger loaf, fresh ripe cherries and sultanas. Hints of cloves, dark chocolate and a refreshing menthol note.
Finish
A long, nostalgic finish of buttered brown toast, espresso and ashy peat smoke, fading into an earthy, dunnage warehousing character that lingers on the palate.
