A 16-year-old release from Kilkerran’s 2024 core range, this Campbeltown single malt was matured in a blend of bourbon, sherry and rum casks and bottled in 2024 at 46% ABV.
The combined cask influence brings a rounded and layered profile where rich vanilla and citrus from the bourbon wood meet dried fruit, spice and deeper oak character from sherry maturation, with subtle tropical sweetness and complexity from rum cask influence.

Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Pineapple and morello cherries rise with a gentle veil of soft peat smoke.
Palate
On the palate, creamy vanilla and citrus lift from bourbon balance with dried fruit and spice from sherry, while a subtle tropical sweetness from rum adds depth. Rich oak and gentle pepper frame a silky mouthfeel, with hints of mango, pineapple and coconut evolving into a warm, long finish dotted by orchard fruit and a whisper of peat.
Finish
Tropical mango and papaya dominate the finish, with ribbons of golden syrup and coconut. Dried apricots lend sweetness, while a creamy vanilla note lingers, leaving a warm, indulgent impression.
