Intense Islay peat smoke rises with medicinal, iodine-kissed notes, carried on a sea-salt breeze and lemon zest. Underneath, vanilla-tinged barley and toasted oak mingle with sherry-dark fruits—raisin, fig—with a cocoa shimmer. A lively, coastal bouquet, hinting at peppery warmth and the bold character of this single-cask release.

Palate

Powdery peat smoke and medicinal notes ride a briny sea breeze, opening with vigor at cask strength. Waxy malt coats the tongue with vanilla, caramel and almond overtones, while sherry cask influence brings dark raisins, cocoa and orange zest. Spices linger as a warm, mineral finish of ash, salt and pepper.

Finish

Long peaty finish, awash in coastal smoke and sea salt, slowly revealing sherry-dark fruits, chocolate, and spice. A warming peppery bite tightens into resinous oak, leaving a lingering ember of peat.
