Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale gold with sunlit straw tones and a delicate honey-amber edge.
Nose
Lemon zest and honeyed barley rise on the nose, joined by creamy vanilla and polished oak. A delicate sherry-tinged sweetness unfolds into dried fruit, almond and gentle spice, then lifts with a crisp white pepper note that keeps the aroma bright and inviting.
Palate
Silky, warming and assertive, this Glenkinchie carries sherry-scented depth. Bright citrus and vanilla ride malt sweetness, then give way to dried fruits, fig and almond. Cocoa, toffee and spice—ginger and white pepper—lift the palate, leaving a long, nutty oak finish with gentle complexity.
Finish
Long, warm finish where citrus zest gives way to rich dried fruit and gentle toasty oak. Cinnamon and clove linger with a whisper of almond and cocoa, leaving a creamy vanilla echo that slowly fades into a refined, dry sweetness.
