Colour
Pale straw-gold with a bright honey sheen and a touch of amber.
Nose
Delicate malt with citrus zest and orchard fruit opens the nose, bright and inviting. Amontillado cask maturation adds a sherry-soft warmth: toasted almond, dried fig and a whisper of cocoa weave through honeyed barley. Subtle oak, spice and a poised sweetness-dry balance linger, hinting at the refined depth to come in the glass.
Palate
On the palate, Glenkinchie Distillers Edition carries a silky malt backbone doubled by Amontillado maturation. Honeyed sweetness and dried fruit kiss almond notes, with cocoa and gentle spice weaving through oak. The sherry depth adds refined rancio and a creamy texture, finishing with balanced dryness and a quiet, toasty echo.
