Cask Strength Single Cask

Bright, grassy and gently fruity, this cask showcases the classic Lowland style for which Glenkinchie is renowned. Delicate and approachable, yet with a depth that emerges over time, it remains unmistakably true to its origins.

Matured in an exceptionally active refill hogshead, the oak has contributed more than might be expected. Notes of toffee sweetness, soft vanilla and gentle spice bring added richness and structure, enhancing rather than reshaping the spirit.

The beauty of this cask lies in its restraint. The active oak adds texture and sweetness, while allowing Glenkinchie’s fresh, elegant distillery character to remain front and centre. A whisky where spirit and wood work in complete harmony.
