Part of Diageo’s annual Distillers Edition range, this Glenkinchie expression is a special double-matured version of the distillery’s classic Lowland single malt. After its initial ageing in traditional oak casks, the whisky is finished in Amontillado sherry casks, adding layers of nutty richness and dried fruit to Glenkinchie’s naturally light and floral style.
Bottled at 43% ABV, it offers a deeper and more rounded take on the distillery’s elegant character.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Crisp, well-formed and complex, with a balance between the drier wine notes and sweeter, nutty hints of barley and cask wood.
Palate
Lightly oily, and sweetly malty in taste to start, then soon spicy, with rich dried fruit hints of raisin and date. Creamy-smooth, the lightly grapey sweetness is crisply balanced by warming wood-spice as it dries from mid-palate on.
Finish
Really long, attractively drying and oaky, while lightly white pepper-spicy. Appealing aftertaste.
