Cask Strength Single Cask

A Highland Single Malt that was distilled in July 2011 and bottled in 2021. Matured in an American Oak cask, then finished in a Marsala cask for over ten years. On the nose there is aromas of sweet barbeque smoke and spices. Flavours of juicy sweet malt with peat ash and brown sugar coat the palate. The finish is long and warming with lingering smoke and more fruit.

Ardmore
(ARD-moor) Ardmore was founded in 1898 by Adam Teacher to supply peated malt for Teacher’s blends, and it remains one of the more distinctive Highland distilleries for that reason. While peat is more commonly associated with Islay, Ardmore built its name on a smokier Highland style, combining earthy peat, gentle spice and a slightly dry, robust character. The distillery is based at Kennethmont and is now part of Suntory Global Spirits.
