Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with a sun-kissed copper glow and honeyed warmth.
Nose
Aromas of peat smoke rising over sun-warmed barley, with a touch of coastal brine and damp timber. The quarter-cask finish laces in vanilla and honeyed toffee, layered with orchard fruit and subtle spice. A resinous, glowing peat ties the aromas, yielding a bold yet refined nose that hints at smoky sweetness and a touch of salt in the air.
Palate
Full, creamy texture with coastal peat smoke that coats the palate. Malty sweetness of vanilla and toffee entwines with dried fruit and a gentle spice. Quarter-cask influence adds oak depth, a touch of honey, and a subtle saltier edge. The peat lingers with a mellow, warming finish.
Finish
Long and warm, the peat lingers beside creamy vanilla and honeyed fruit. Quarter-cask maturation deepens the oak, revealing gentle spice and a hint of toffee, ending in a soft, resinous smoke that fades with elegance.
