The GlenAllachie Cask Strength Batch 6 is a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons along with a small quantity of Virgin Oak and Rioja casks. This results in a Whisky that has lashings of heather honey, dark chocolate and mocha, with almonds, cinnamon and orange peel on the nose. On the palate there is waves of dark chocolate, treacle, mocha, heather honey and almonds, fused with cinnamon, marmalade and grapefruit.
