Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a warm copper-gold core and mahogany-tinged edges.
Nose
Luxurious nose of dark fruit—figs, raisins, and orange zest—shrouded in sherry sweetness with polished oak. Cocoa, toffee, and almond mingle with soft leather and spice, yielding a velvety, cask-rich aroma that promises depth.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and warming, this sherry-influenced dram coats the palate with ripe cherry and fig, braided with cocoa, toffee and burnt sugar. Cinnamon and orange zest lift the sweetness, while 60.3% ABV lends a confident bite. The finish is long and refined, revealing leather, tobacco and dried fruit with lingering spice.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with warming cloves and dark chocolate, as red berries mingle with toasted oak. The sherry cask influence deepens into praline, raisin and fig, leaving a velvety sweetness that lingers, gradually fading into refined, oak-kissed dryness.
