That connection runs right through to its whisky, released under the Wire Works name, with the first full whisky release arriving in February 2022.
White Peak’s whisky is built around a lightly peated house style, using an 80/20 mix of unpeated and peated malt to add gentle smoke and extra complexity rather than heavy peat. All Wire Works whisky is distilled and matured on site, and recent years have seen the range develop into a Provenance Core Range that includes Bourbon Barrel, Caduro and Port Cask. That progress has been matched by wider recognition, with White Peak named Best English Whisky Distillery in 2024 and Wire Works Bourbon Barrel winning Best World Whisky 2025, a notable milestone for one of England’s younger whisky producers.
