Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depths and copper-gold highlights, a warm, sunset-hued glow that hints at sherry influence.
Nose
Sherry-drenched aromas of fig, raisin and orange zest rise from toasted almond and dark cocoa. Warm vanilla, spice and a touch of oak weave through the bouquet, hinting at richness and depth with a silky, inviting sweetness.
Palate
Velvety and sherried on the palate, with dark fruit—plum, fig, blackberry—bolstered by cocoa and burnt sugar. Orange zest and spice (cinnamon, clove) weave through malt, supported by polished oak. Finish long and warming, with cocoa-dusted fruit and a refined, lingering spice.
Finish
Long and refined, the finish drapes the palate in dried fruit and cocoa, riding a sherried sweetness with orange zest and cinnamon. Oak tannins melt into warm spice, leaving a reassuring whisper of vanilla and honey.
