A Benrinnes single malt bottled by Elixir Distillers for The Single Malts of Scotland range, this 15 year old was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2025 from a Pedro Ximenez sherry cask at 55.1% ABV. Limited to 248 bottles.

Pedro Ximenez cask maturation brings rich, syrupy dried fruit, gentle spice and layered sweetness to Benrinnes’ robust Speyside spirit. The influence of the fortified wine cask complements the distillery’s naturally weighty, malt-forward character, adding depth and complexity in this concentrated single cask release.

Benrinnes
(ben-RIN-is) Benrinnes was first established in 1826 by Peter MacKenzie at Whitehouse Farm near Aberlour, on the lower slopes of Ben Rinnes. The original distillery was destroyed by flooding in 1829, with a new site later developed nearby. After early ownership changes, David Edward took over in 1864, and the distillery was sold to John Dewar & Sons in 1922 before becoming part of DCL three years later. It is now owned by Diageo.
