Sun-warmed amber with honey-gold radiance and coppery glints
Nose
An inviting malty-fruit bouquet layered with Golden syrup sponge, lemon puff biscuits and Danish pastry filled with custard and jam. As it develops, muskier hints of caraway, star anise and old leather emerge, adding depth and warmth to the aroma.
Palate
Sweet and slightly savoury, like fresh Danish pastries and custard tarts, delivering a moreish initial taste. As it unfolds, lime, pineapple and banana emerge, revealing a fruity core within this rich, heavy-bodied Speyside whisky.
Finish
A creamy aftertaste of buttery shortcrust pastry lingers, unfolding into a drying, biscuit-like finish.
