Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery glints and a tawny mahogany edge; a warm, inviting bronze that hints at sherry influence.
Nose
Dark-sherried aromatics: dried fig and raisin mingle with orange peel, toffee and cocoa, under a rich oak backbone. A whisper of spice, almond and polished leather adds depth, with hints of coffee bean and plum glaze completing the alluring, layered perfume.
Palate
Sherried and sultry on the palate, a full, oily mouthfeel carries dark fruit—figs, raisins, dried cherry—with cocoa, brown sugar, and orange zest. Rich spice notes of cinnamon and clove unfold against polished oak, while a warming, peppery finish lingers long with a hint of espresso bitterness.
Finish
Long, velvety finish of dried fruits—raisins, fig and cherry—woven with cocoa and toasted almond. Sherry depth lingers, releasing cinnamon and clove spice that echo through the oak, leaving a warm, elegant glow.
