Honeyed vanilla, ripe pear and orchard apple lead the aroma, brightened by citrus zest. A soft undercurrent of oak and gentle spice adds warmth and depth, inviting a slow, creamy release.

Palate

Silky and creamy on the palate, honeyed orchard fruits fuse with vanilla and toffee, lifted by toasted oak. Subtle cinnamon and nutmeg spice add warmth, while delicate sherry notes bring depth and dried-fruit nuance. Smooth, balanced sweetness rests on a velvety mouthfeel, finishing long and refined.

Finish

Silky and enduring, the finish blooms with honeyed vanilla and creamy malt, supported by soft oak. A lift of citrus zest and a whisper of spice linger, leaving a warm, polished glow that invites the next sip.

(bal-VENN-ee) Founded in 1889 by William Grant, Balvenie is located next to the giant Glenfiddich distillery on the outskirts of Dufftown in Speyside. The distillery employs traditional whisky making methods, being one of the few to retain its original floor maltings and on site cooperage. The Balvenie single malt is typically rich, luxuriously smooth, and has a distinctive honeyed character.
