Balvenie Stories #9 - A Revelation Of Cask And Character Single Malt Scotch Whisky 19 Year Old
In stock
This is a story of expertise, intuition, and the craft of Coopering whisky itself. The particular Sherry Oak maturation is the result of years of curiosity and learning, but the story begins with an unexpected discovery.
At Balvenie Distillery they have their own onsite cooperage, making and mending casks as they move between homing the sleeping whiskies. Tending to these casks are a group of experienced Makers called coopers who painstakingly build these casks by hand.
