Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery glow and mahogany edges, deep and warm.
Nose
Opulent nose of vanilla and gentle spice, with dried cloves and malt sweetness. The Oloroso sherry influence brings syrupy oatmeal, brittle toffee and a dry oak backbone, weaving in a subtle nuttiness and a warm, inviting glow.
Palate
Silky and medium in body, the palate opens with vivid vanilla and dried clove spice over a base of barley malt. Syrupy oatmeal and brittle toffee mingle with a dry oak frame, lifted by the Oloroso influence. A soft, persistent finish echoes gentle sherry notes and refined malt sweetness.
Finish
Long, warm finish where vanilla lingers with dried cloves, softly carried by barley malt. Syrupy oatmeal and brittle toffee ebb, giving way to dry oak with a subtle sherry-resin bite that invites the next sip.
