Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery glints and a warm mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent honeyed vanilla and toasted oak dominate, paired with ripe orchard fruit and caramel. Sherry butt influence brings dark fruit, cacao, and toasted almond notes, while a spine of spice—cinnamon and clove—threads through a refined, velvety oak finish.
Palate
Rich and opulent, with a velvety, mouth-coating texture. Dark dried fruit—fig and raisin—layered with toffee, honey, and vanilla from American oak. Sherry butt influence brings cocoa, almond, and a warming spice, lifted by orange zest. Full-bodied and lush, it finishes long with renewed spice and subtle tobacco notes.
Finish
An opulent, long finish that lingers with dried fruit and raisin sweetness, tempered by vanilla and cocoa from generous sherry oak. Subtle spice—cinnamon and clove—trails through the tail, as toasted oak and a delicate citrus zest fade to a warm, refined final impression.
