Tasting Notes
Colour
Luxuriously deep amber with coppery highlights and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Rich sherry influence coats the nose with dried fig, raisin and plum, brightened by orange zest and vanilla-caramel sweetness. Toasted almond and walnut add depth, while cocoa and spice drift in the background. Polished oak lends a warm, balsamic elegance to a refined, lingering finish.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, the palate unfolds with luxurious sherry sweetness, dried figs, raisin paste and candied orange peel, layered over roasted almond and dark chocolate. A gentle, mineral edge meets warm spice: cinnamon, clove, and ginger mingle with subtle oaken tannins. Finessed with creamy vanilla and a persistent, velvety finish that echoes fruitcake and polished oak.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish infused with sherry sweetness and refined oak. Dried fruits—raisin and fig—linger alongside orange zest, cocoa and toffee. Spice threads of cinnamon and clove persist as the tail slowly fades, leaving a warm, mocha-toned glow.
