Distilled in 1972 and matured for 50 years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask as part of Glenglassaugh’s Serpentine Coastal Cask Collection, this Highland single malt was bottled in 2024 at 40.6% ABV.
The Serpentine series was drawn from rare casks rediscovered in the distillery’s coastal warehouses and selected by the master blender, capturing the influence of long seaside maturation in a rare, age-worthy release.
Expect rich layers of dried fruit and tropical notes from extended PX wood influence, underpinned by soft oak and gentle coastal character that reflect Glenglassaugh’s unique maritime setting.
