Bourbon cask maturation brings vanilla sweetness, gentle spice and fresh oak influence, complementing Glenglassaugh’s naturally bright, coastal Highland character where orchard fruit and malt notes are balanced by a subtle maritime freshness.

(Glen-GLASS-uh) Glenglassaugh was founded in 1875 near Sandend on the Aberdeenshire coast by James Moir and his nephews. Its history has been unusually stop-start, with long silent periods during the 20th century before production resumed in 2008 after a major revival. The distillery later joined the BenRiach company in 2013, before becoming part of Brown-Forman in 2016 alongside Benriach and GlenDronach.
