Nose

Opulent Pedro Ximénez sherry perfume, a tapestry of raisin, fig and date folded with plum and honeyed toffee. Orange zest, dark chocolate and espresso lift the sweetness, while polished oak, leather and spice add balletic structure. Rich, dessert-like and velvety, this 39-year cask exudes luxury with a lingering, refined finish.

(Glen-GLASS-uh) Glenglassaugh was founded in 1875 near Sandend on the Aberdeenshire coast by James Moir and his nephews. Its history has been unusually stop-start, with long silent periods during the 20th century before production resumed in 2008 after a major revival. The distillery later joined the BenRiach company in 2013, before becoming part of Brown-Forman in 2016 alongside Benriach and GlenDronach.
