A UK exclusvie single cask release from Glenglassaugh, that was distilled in 2009, under the new ownership. Aged in a single Sherry hogshead for 7 years, this is a release of only 155 bottles. The nose has fragrant, herbal oak spices infused with dark raisins and sour plums. There's a back note of cracked black pepper and stewed barley. The palate ofers fresh toasted oak surrounded by crisp, tart cranberry compote, followed by a cigar box spice note. Rich barley and wild redberries linger in the long finish.
