Laphroaig with the volume turned down, youthfull and refreshing and those are not words you associate with Laphroaig normally!

Tasting Notes

Nose

Aromatic, sooty iodine peat envelopes the nose, mingling with salty lemon rind, liquorice and dried fruit, all lifted by a lively note of ginger.

Palate

A more mellow delivery with the TCP/iodine elements toned down, ginger, citrus, liquorice, salt and pepper, sooty vanilla.

Finish

Smoked oatmeal, aromatic/perfumed peat, some seaweed, toffee and salty blueberry.
