Please note the condition of the front label.
This Islay Mist blended Scotch whisky was originally bottled by D. Johnston & Co. (Laphroaig) and dates back to when the brand was produced under Laphroaig’s stewardship.
Islay Mist itself was created in 1927 at Laphroaig by Ian Hunter to offer a smoky, approachable blend built around peaty Islay malt and Speyside malts, made lighter than straight Laphroaig for broader appeal.
The 8-year-old expression carries subtle peat smoke, maritime influence and gentle citrus and spice notes, reflecting its blend composition and Islay heritage.
Today Islay Mist is owned by MacDuff International and continues in various expressions.
