A super 21-year-old vintage Balblair released by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail as part of their MacPhail's Collection, a series of bottlings that were discontinued in 2018.
Older releases from this series. including Balblair, Glen Scotia and Highland Park have been excellent. This is a final chance to grab a super whisky at an exceptional price.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich copper-gold with radiant amber depths and a hint of mahogany at the edge.
Nose
Sweet and delicate, the aroma opens with vanilla and honey, mingling with ripe apricot and orchard fruits. Subtle notes of green apple bring a crisp lift, while whispers of toasted malt add a warm, toasty backbone.
Palate
On the palate, generous sweetness unfolds with a creamy, silky texture, unveiling ripe banana and raspberry fruit shaded by marzipan. Subtle heather honey lends a floral lift, leaving a warm, lingering sweetness.
Finish
Medium-length with a creamy mouthfeel, where sweet honey lingers invitingly.
