Initially matured in refill bourbon casks, this Single Malt from Glendullan experienced a three year finishing in Côte Rôtie wine casks.

Dried strawberry aromas give way to roasted peanuts and crystalised violet. Raspberry compote flavours combine with liquorice and red apple, leading to a medium bodied finish with citrus and red berries.

Glendullan
(GLEN-dull-an) Glendullan was founded in 1897 by William Williams in Dufftown, and Diageo notes that it was the seventh distillery built in the town, which ties in with the old line that Dufftown stood on “seven stills.” The distillery takes its name from the Dullan Water, and its early history was shaped more by blending than by a large single malt presence, with Williams later merging into Greenlees Brothers before the business was absorbed into DCL in 1925.
