This expression from Glendullan in the Speyside region has aromas of cooking apples, golden ale and beeswax, with burnt sugar and plums in the background. On the palate it is big, waxy and chewy with flavours of buttered toast, candied fruits, honey and spice. The finish is rich, malty and full-bodied.

Glendullan
(GLEN-dull-an) Glendullan was founded in 1897 by William Williams in Dufftown, and Diageo notes that it was the seventh distillery built in the town, which ties in with the old line that Dufftown stood on “seven stills.” The distillery takes its name from the Dullan Water, and its early history was shaped more by blending than by a large single malt presence, with Williams later merging into Greenlees Brothers before the business was absorbed into DCL in 1925.
